Consisting of 14 experimental tracks, many of which feature the vocals of our favorite female DJ, the work takes influence from so many different areas of the music world. The album includes talent from Trippie Redd, Blessus, Buddy, Chief Keef, and follow Aussies SLUMBERJACK, all of which prove to balance the work to a subtle perfection. With a beautiful complexity, this is undoubtedly the best full-length release of the year, so far.
The boys dropped the inaugural episode of "Playground Radio," a bi-weekly radio show sure to be a hit for any and all music fans. This week's episode features not only their work, but artists like Brockhampton, What So Not, and Medasin, to name only a few.
S$DD, a SoundCloud account with only 15 followers at the time of this post, has released a rework of Flume's classic "Holdin' On" seemingly out of nowhere, and it's nothing short of incredible. Progressive, professional, and beautiful to the core, the release is undoubtedly among the best of the first quarter of this new year, filled with dancy grooves and deep bass.
Stress Relief is a five track, vibe-heavy EP that truly showcases Melvv's talents and captures his style in a nutshell; featuring only vocalists, the work stays true to what makes the Melvv brand work. More exciting, however, is that with this release also comes a nationwide tour to premier the new EP.
KRANE has, in an admirably short amount of time, become one the hottest names in all of electronic music and it seems everything he puts out is an instant hit. Having already released one of the trap scene's most memorable albums to date with Fallout at the end of 2017, it seemed everyone turned their sights towards KRANE's 2018. Having already released some seriously incredible work, KRANE released the long awaited Fallout (The Remixes), and it really, truly, is one for the history books.
